Janelle Monae is going to be big. I called it first! The ArchAndroid is the upcoming debut studio album by American Grammy award-nominated musician Janelle Monáe, to be released May 18, 2010 on Wondaland Arts Society/Bad Boy Records[4]. The album is a combination of the suites II and III of "Metropolis", a conceptual series created by Monáe.

YOHJI YAMAMOTO. Romantically linked with Rei Kawakubo of Commes des Garçons. Yamamoto’s daughter, Rimi, also has a notable Japanese brand, Limi Feu.

His cult-followed sportswear brand Y-3 is owned and distributed by adidas.

MASAAKI HONMA. His meticulous design techniques of using laser-printed leather or waterproof silk have caught the eye of fans in high fashion such as Karl Lagerfeld.

HIROKI NAKAMURA. Nakamura is inspired by the Alpine Mountains and brought an Alpine Tent with him as a source of encouragement on his trip to Paris for the Visvim exhibition.

The designer found the inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2010 collection from ’60s car culture. Every collection is created chemical-free and Visvim brick-and-mortars are called Free International Laboratory Store.

SHINSUKE TAKIZAWA. Shin and Tet from W)TAPS go way back. Their first attempt at producing clothing was screen-printing their own graphics onto old-school Ralph Lauren tees.
